Biography

Emil works from his home studio in Turku, Finland. He creates drawings in pencil which he then manipulates digitally. Emil’s illustrations have been featured in international publications such as Computer Arts, Novum, Page and Print Magazine. In 2008 he won the Mikkeli Illustration Triennial and in 2009 he held his first solo exhibition in Helsinki. In 2010 Emil designed a series of stamps released by the Finnish Post. One of his most recent projects is a collection of illustrations for Design Forum Finland.
