Biography

Inka graduated from the Helsinki University of Art and Design with a BA in both fashion and graphic design only to realize that her true interest was in illustration. Most of Inka’s works are dark and detailed collages that draw inspiration from the sci-fi movies, posters and futuristic images of 1960s and 70s pop culture. Inka was listed in Wallpaper* Magazine’s Graduate Directory of 2009 and was featured in the Creative Review Illustration Annual 2010 as well as the Finnish Design Yearbook 2010–2011. She has also received awards in Finland’s “Best of the Year” competitions in 2006, 2007 and 2008 for graphic design and illustration and most recently she was awarded the prestigious ADC Young Gun 9 title. Inka is one of the founding partners of the creative agency Tsto.
