Biography

Lotta studied illustration and graphic design at the University of Art and Design Helsinki and at the Rhode Island School of Design. She enjoys playing with colors and patterns and is inspired by everything but the color black, drafting her illustrations by hand and finishing them in Photoshop. While Lotta’s style is geometric, it is at the same time abundant in elements and details. She was nominated by Print Magazine as one of the twenty hottest new visual artists of 2010 and was given The Art Directors Club's prestigious Young Gun award in the same year. She has been featured in magazines such as Print, Communication Arts and Underscore Magazine. In early 2012 Lotta received the esteemed Junior of the Year award at the Finnish Best of the Year advertising competition.
