Biography

Sanna is one of Finland’s most prolific young illustrators. Her distinctive style can be seen on the pages of various publications in her home country and abroad. Sanna’s colorful, highly saturated works are inspired by garden parties and delightful disarray. Lately her output has sprawled beyond printed media and into interiors, tableware and textiles. As an illustrator and graphic designer she has won awards such as Cannes Young Creatives 2006 and Junior of the Year 2007 at the Finnish “Best of the Year” competition. Her recent work includes editorial illustrations for New York Magazine and Casamica Magazine as well as book covers for Australian publisher Scribe Publications.
